A sclerometer is a device designed to determine the compressive strength of concrete in the range from 5 to 40 MPa in concrete and reinforced concrete structures and products by the elastic rebound method
The anvil of the Schmidt hammer consists of a massive cylindrical base into which a test plate made of hardened tool steel is pressed, and a guide sleeve fixed to the base and providing a strictly perpendicular position of the sclerometer upon impact.
The concrete strength meter is designed to determine the strength of concrete by the shock pulse method. Concrete strength is determined by the calibration dependencies between the strength of concrete, established by one of the destructive methods, and the indirect characteristics of the device.
The thickness gauge of the protective layer of concrete is designed for operational quality control of reinforced concrete products and structures by the eddy current method during the inspection of buildings and structures, during technological control at enterprises and construction sites.
